Cindy Charles

Cindy Charles is an actress, screenwriter, and director. She is particularly known for her lead role as Manuela Jean in the television series "Ainsi Va Manu," broadcast on TFO. This series was a great success, leading to a second season and earning her a prestigious nomination at the 37th Gémeaux Awards as well as at the 2023 Dynastie Gala as Actress of the Year. Her performance was widely acclaimed, winning three awards, including Best Actress at the T.O. WebFest presented by ACTRA.

Her passion for writing is expressed through the creation of two episodes for the international animation series "Interstellaire Ella," in addition to her contribution to 50 other episodes. Her creativity extends to directing four episodes of the youth documentary series "Sunny's Quest / La Quête de Lumie." In 2024, Cindy joined the cast of the successful television series "Lakay Nou." In November 2024, Cindy produced, wrote, and lent her voice to a documentary podcast on the Afro-Canadian history of the "No.2 Construction Battalion." The podcast reached the Apple Top 50 podcasts chart with over 12,000 listeners and received recognition from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Her artistic commitment positions her as a source of inspiration for Quebec youth and a point of pride for the Haitian community.
